Why did you make this dish?:
I like this dish because I like pasta and the sauce has a lot of different vegetables in it and is healthy.
1. First I emptied the tomatoes into a pot. Then I put the pot on the stove and turned it on and boiled it for 5 minutes. 2. While the tomatoes were cooking, I chopped up the carrot, the celery, the onion and smashed and peeled the garlic. 3. After 5 minutes I put them in the pot. Then I also put in a handful of washed parsley, a really big squeeze of tomato puree, a pinch of sugar and a pinch of salt. Then I stirred it and put the pot lid on. 4. Then I cooked it for 40 minutes - we call that a simmer. 5. While I was waiting I boiled some water in a big pot to make the spaghetti. I made the spaghetti. 5. When the vegetables were cooked I added a glug of olive oil and I blended it with a hand blender. 6. I put the sauce on the spaghetti and devoured it.
800 g tinned tomatoes, 1 big onion, 1 big carrot, 1 celery stick, 2 cloves of garlic, a bunch of parsley, about 2 tbsp of tomato puree, a pinch of sugar, a pinch of salt, about 1 tbsp of olive oil, 500g of spaghetti.
